Our results allow health workers to capture patient’s feet measurements in a fast and easy way. In the process, special measurement equipment, plugged into a practitioner’s computer, is used. The measured parameters of the patient’s feed are used thereafter in the process of making user-tailored shoe inserts in certified production facilities. The solution is designed for patients with a variety of orthopaedic conditions that can be relieved by shoe inserts. For example, for people with posture problems or difficulty walking.

The software part of the solution is completely based on Microsoft technology stack and in general, contains the following web components:

• Client-side web application, used by healthcare personnel, is developed in ASP.net framework using C# programming language. The client application stores data in MS SQL Express database.
• Server site part of the solution, which primary role is to orchestrate data flow between clients and a production facility. The backend of the solution is based on a web application based on ASP.NET framework and backed up with MS SQL database.
